Our story so far:
In 2018, Tamsin had graduated from The Glasgow School of Art and had spent a few years working as a graphic design and later a homeware designer in the UK. After spending time travelling through India, South-East Asia, Australia and New Zealand,

Tamsin and her now husband made the move to Fremantle in western Australia. Working as a freelance designer in WA before setting up Braw Paper Co. from a small home office, balancing becoming a mum in 2014 and again in 2016.

Inspired by the stunning landscapes and nature of Western Australia, particularly the bold colours and never-ending skies, Braw Paper Co. has now grown to a small but mighty team of 4, working out of a beautiful studio space in Hilton near Fremantle. We are also have our very own studio shop on site which helps to keep us connected to our local community who have always supported our small business.

Growing up in the Lake District in the North-West of England, Tamsin has always been happiest when surrounded by nature and moving to Western Australia only increased that love of spectacular landscapes and the incredible array of native fauna and flora on offer.

Tamsin is currently living in Bavaria in the South of Germany with her family and splits her time between Fremantle and her family home in the countryside outside of Munich. Now surrounded by forests, lakes and mountains, the scenery is still incredible but very different to that of Western Australia and provides an amazing opportunity for new inspiration, exploring culture, wildlife and of course learning a new language!

Tamsin's illustration style is rooted in collage, mixed media and a love of pattern, paper, layers and mark making. Her unique and recognisable work is often infused with humour, joy and intricate details, making her designs loved and collected by a wide range of people.
